We currently have a number of opportunities for Production Operators to join our busy team.

Majority of positions are shift work, 05:30 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 although we do have a few static shifts available.

Salary is £17,056 with an additional shift allowance of £2,831 for shift workers and optional overtime will be available. Sales account manager (12 month fixed term contract)

We are currently looking for a dynamic Sales Account Manager to cover a 12 month maternity leave. The ideal person will be familiar with the UK retail market ideally within Health and Beauty and has the ability to build relationships.

The successful candidate will manage key accounts for well know high street names and conduct customer reviews by attending client meetings to help grow sales and deliver success.

We are currently looking for a self motivated Warehouse Supervisor with a current Fork Lift Truck License and a Class 2 license for 18 tonne lorry to join our busy team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Efficient Management of the day to day Warehouse Operation & drive performance against team KPI’s.
  • Effective Management of resource planning to complete all activities proficiently & accurately.
  • Ensure all reporting is compiled and completed to exacting standards as set out by the Group Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
  • Maintain excellent internal & external customer service.
  • Day to day liaison with external suppliers & contractors.
  • To adhere to all SOPs and identify any gaps/changes in the current processes and assist with development of new SOPs.
  • Management of Health & Safety in the workplace, including safety, equipment, PPE.
  • Control of Fork Lift Truck management to ensure full operational capacity and achieve daily targets.
  • Develop self & support others through the sharing of expertise & knowledge in department & or internal department. Train staff to exacting standards in all traits of warehousing function.
  • Establish Strong work relationships across shift(s) with counterparts, share knowledge, hold formal handovers.

We are currently have an opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join our fantastic team.

Reporting to the Chemical Buyer, to assist in providing a focal point for all purchasing administration issues, including the entering of official POs, communicating delivery dates to relevant individuals within the company, maintaining product codes and analysis of MRP.

Key Deliverables:

  • To assist in ensuring the effective and accurate processing of purchase orders to each relevant supplier.
  • Provide accurate delivery dates on incoming supplier orders to our planning team.
  • To process order acknowledgements promptly and check them for quantity and price accuracy.
  • To analyse MRP (training will be provided)
  • To ensure that the administration of the Purchasing office is efficient and up to date at all times.
  • To liaise with the Goods In department regarding shipments coming into the company.
  • To take responsibility for, and promote, the health, safety and welfare within the Purchasing area, whilst complying with the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Recruitment Criteria:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience.
  • Ideally be able to demonstrate experience in a purchasing environment, or experience in office administration.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Can show excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can show a good level of computer literacy, preferably showing knowledge of ERP systems although training will be given.
  • Show ability and understanding of the need for attention to detail.
  • Can work with little supervision but can also work as part of a team, building strong interpersonal relationships.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager who has a background in manufacturing.This role will be responsible for managing all related functions including materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing, inventory control and warehousing.

Essential Functions:

  • Define supply chain strategy for the business and achieve year on year budgeted improvements in material cost productivity
  • Manage the current supplier base and build operational relationships with new suppliers
  • Maintain and improve operational efficiency level through on time stock availability
  • Oversee stock control, planning, purchasing and organising incoming goods
  • Direct management of supply chain and planning team
  • Experience within a lean manufacturing environment
  • Ownership of the supply response to the demand forecast of the Sales & Operations Planning process.
  • Monitor vendor performance regarding product quality, on-time delivery and conformance with commercial terms
  • Work closely with external suppliers to deliver cost reduction, quality and delivery improvements
  • Ensure warehousing and logistics processes are aligned in the supply chain to meet customer expectations including the goods inwards management process and the management of the delivery fleet


Experience Required:

  • We are looking for a hands on manager with significant man management experience
  • Excellent empathy skills, training skills and approachable in regards to explaining and delivering the importance of supply chain
  • Candidates must have implemented a strategy in a previous role
  • Experience of ERP/MRP or related product specific forecasting in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Must be knowledgeable in planning and forecasting systems
  • Practical experience in the application of continuous improvement techniques in a manufacturing environment
  • End to end Supply Chain understanding

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Packaging Technologist to join our fantastic team.

 

Job Description:

  • Raise the profile of the Packaging Development team by effectively collaborating with customers on both specific and speculative briefs to develop quality & functional packaging.
  • Provide accurate technical support to all related departments within the company on all packaging development issues.To originate, issue, control and maintain Packaging Component Specifications. Maintain PIF files.

  • Attend and offer technical expertise at NPD meetings, re packaging component development details.
  • Identify, brief, control, carry out and conclude required compatibility testing of all packaging components within all NPD & PCP activity, to agreed timelines.
  • Identify, evaluate and bring to the company new packaging concepts and technologies to deliver innovative leading edge and/or improved efficiencies/cost savings.
  • Undertake external audits of suppliers and third-party contractors and participate in vendor appraisal/evaluation.
  • Project management of packaging developments internally & externally for NPD & PCP against agreed timeplans and within company procedures.
  • Co-ordination of production line trials as part of the company’s NPD and PCP programs and update engineering and production on an ongoing basis.
  • Approving artwork ensuring it is technically correct and uses appropriate print methods.
  • Liaison with Customers and Design Houses as required.
  • Attend print approvals and Colour Matching as required.
  • Sign off in-coming Packaging component standards.
  • Packaging Testing: Hedley, Leak, Transit and any other testing as required.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Institute of Packaging (IoP) Diploma (or equivalent)
  • 3 years Packaging Development Experience in Cosmetics, Pharma or FMCG.
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D technical drawings essential. Familiarity with 3D CAD an advantage.
